3 and 4 Year Olds

For children attending Active Minds Child Care and Preschool full time, preschool is included with tuition. Field trips are held once a month for the 4 year old class and include the zoo, pumpkin patch, MK Nature Center, fire department and others. 

Guest speakers such as dentists, musicians, and police officers are also brought in for different themes.  There are two field trips for the 3 year old class including the zoo and the pumpkin patch.  Each month guest speakers come to visit the 3 year old class, including firefighters, musicians, dentists and more.

Active Minds Child Care and Preschool uses Zoo-phonics to teach the alphabet and incorporates science, math and music into the curriculum.  Each week there is a focus on a letter and a shape, color or number, as well as a fun theme. Children will also get to participate in a daily craft and outdoor play on our park-quality play ground.



Children attending Active Minds Child Care and Preschool for full days attend preschool during one of the normal preschool times and continue learning and playing before and after their scheduled preschool time.  Additionally, they have a special curriculum for the days they do not attend preschool. Child care students receive breakfast, lunch and two healthy snacks each day. They also get to participate in fun activities such as cooking classes, crafts, computers and much more.  Parents can also choose to enroll children in extra activities such as swimming lessons, dance or karate.
